Alex Voudouris was admitted to the Law Society of Upper Canada in 1991. He graduated from York University in 1982 with a Specialized Honours degree in Political Science and History. In 1989, he graduated from the University of Windsor Law School earning an LL.B. He also had the distinction of Clerking for the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal of the Northwest Territories
Now in his second decade practicing exclusively in the personal injury field, Alex is a senior litigator with extensive Trial and Arbitration experience together with Appeal work, including appearances before the Court of Appeal for Ontario, the Divisional Court, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board Appeals Tribunal.
Alex has represented clients in a broad range of cases including serious brain injuries, para and quadriplegia, chronic pain, fatalities, soft tissue and orthopaedic injuries together with catastrophic impairments.
Although Alex now restricts his practice to representing injured victims, for a number of years he represented numerous Canadian and American insurance companies including Allstate, Co-operators, Coseco, ING (now Intact), RBC, Monnex (now TD), Auto Owners (Michigan) and Erie Insurance (Pennsylvania). This experience has provided Alex with a distinct defence perspective that enables him to more successfully represent plaintiffs against these and other insurance companies.
